Stephen Donohue has spent over 30 years helping individuals and businesses find the right insurance solutions. After five years as a manager at one of the nation’s fastest-growing health insurance companies, he launched his own independent agency. Since founding Atlantic Insurance & Benefit Company in Nashua, NH in 1998, Steve has guided clients through the complexities of insurance with clarity and care.
His agency offers a comprehensive range of coverage, including employee benefits, Medicare, auto, home, health, life, and commercial insurance. A Registered Health Underwriter (RHU®), Steve has earned one of the industry’s most respected credentials in health insurance and employee benefits. The RHU® designation, awarded by The American College of Financial Services, reflects advanced expertise in group benefits, individual health insurance, and key regulatory frameworks such as COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
Steve is also a published insurance writer, a guest lecturer, and a recognized expert on Medicare coverage. A proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity and the Gate City Striders, he is committed to giving back to his community both professionally and personally.
In 2023, Steve and his wife Regis celebrated 30 years of marriage. They live in Nashua, NH and are the proud parents of five wonderful daughters

James Goff joined the Atlantic Insurance & Benefit team in 2017, bringing a diverse professional background and a client-focused approach to the firm.

He is a proud graduate of the SUNY Albany School of Business, where he developed a strong foundation in business strategy and management.

Before joining Atlantic, James gained valuable industry experience at GEICO. He also spent time working in the fast-paced high-technology arena, where he specialized in Account Management and Recruiting.

His depth of insurance knowledge and unique blend of experience allows him to understand the complex challenges our individual clients and businesses owners face today. 

James lives in Nashua with his partner Brenda and their son Gavin.
