What are the NH State Limits for Auto Insurance? 
In New Hampshire insured drivers must carry at least the following coverages and limits:
Bodily Injury: $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident.
Property Damage: $25,000 per accident.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist: $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident.
Medical Payments: $1,000 per accident.

What if I want better coverage?
In NH it costs only a MINIMAL amount to buy higher levels of coverage for liability and property damage.
We ran a quote for a client today and the cost to buy up from the NH State mandated limits to the better coverages listed below was just 3.34 month.
Bodily Injury: $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.
Property Damage: $100,000 per accident.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist: $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.
Medical Payments: $5,000 per accident.

Are NH Drivers ever required to buy car insurance?
While NH does not have a mandatory car insurance law, there are specific times when a driver has to buy car insurance. The NH DMV may require a driver to obtain Proof of Financial Responsibility also known as an SR-22. BASIC
For most insurers, this category covers fillings, extractions,and emergency or palliative care.

MAJOR
