MVP Healthcare to Leave NH

MVP Healthcare has decided to leave NH.

"In recent years MVP's membership in NH has diminished," says Steve Donohue NH insurance broker. "We are sad to see MVP Healthcare depart NH, they are an excellent insurer with flexible products and great customer service."

MVP released a brief press release October 15th, explaining that they have opted to focus on the company's 2 larger markets NY and VT

Now, the NH small group health insurance market will only have the following 3 insurers left :

• Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
• MVP Healthcare
•  UnitedHealthcare®

NH law requires that insurers departing the state MUST give clients 6 months notice. Letters have been mailed to MVP's existing clientele and the company has pledged to work closely with brokers and clients to ensure a smooth transition.
