
In NH, for the 2017 open enrollment, there will be 32 different health insurance plans offered by 4 different insurers. If you live in NH you can buy health insurance directly from an insurer or through healthcare.gov, which is also called “the health insurance marketplace” or “the exchange.”
Open enrollment is the time when insurers open their doors and allow people to buy new health insurance or make changes to their existing health insurance plan. Open enrollment for 2017 is three full months running November 1, 2016 through January 31, 2017. Note if you want to enroll in a health plan - or make changes to your current plan for January 1, 2017 – you will need to complete your enrollment on or before December 15, 2016.

Ambetter will offer 2 plan designs (1 Gold and 1 Silver)
Anthem will offer 11 plan designs (1 Gold, 4 Silver, 5 Bronze and 1 Catastrophic)
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care will offer 8 plan designs (1 Gold, 4 Silver, and 3 Bronze)
Minuteman Health will offer 11 plan designs ( 2 Platinum, 1 Gold, 3 Silver, 4 Bronze and 1 Catastrophic)
